I don't know how you all feel about leash kids - you know, the kids who have some sort of bracelet or backpack and it has a leash attached to it that the parent holds - but I think they might be the best (and funniest) thing since sliced bread. Seriously, I have made the comment several times that I would love to have a leash on my kid so I could jerk them backwards when they start wandering off and say "COME HERE!" I'm kidding, but I think they are kind of a cool thing. They look a little silly/restrictive, but at least those people don't have to worry about their kid running off when they turn around or someone coming up and snatching the kid. I was at Northpark (NorthPark?) mall in Dallas on Friday and saw a little girl with a monkey backpack with a leash. It didn't seem to bother her at all. I think I will get a leash whenever I have a kid. Thoughts?
That moves me on to something totally off topic. Activia yogurt. I was watching TV just now and saw another commercial for Activia. I have never tried the stuff. I'm sure it's wonderful and probably works fabulously; however, I loathe their commercials. I don't like talking about bathroom issues. I know it doesn't bother some people, but it completely embarasses and repulses me. For that reason, the Activia commercials are really weird/disgusting/uncomfortable to me. I just saw the one where the woman is telling her friend all about her holiday plans and she says "I ate, blah blah blah, and now I'm a little irregular." and her friend asks her if she eats Activia and she says "no, it's just me." Seriously, how many of you actually talk to your friends about your irregular bowel movements? Maybe I am the only one who never feels the need to do this, but I would absolutely never, in a million years, no matter how good of friends I was with someone or how long we had known eachother, tell my friend that I was irregular lately. Gross. I wouldn't even tell my mom that! (hi, mom!) Like I said, maybe it's just me, but I can't imagine.
I'll give a weekend update tomorrow. For now, I'll just say that Tim is gone to a bachelor party until tomorrow and I am lonely and semi-scared at the house in Fort Worth. I'm ready for him to be back! Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend :)
