Valentine's!

If you know me (or if you don't, I'm going to tell you!) you know that I am obsessed with Valentine's Day. It is absolutely my favorite holiday of the year. What can I say, I am a hopeless romantic. I want to take advantage of Valentine's for as long as I can, so that's why I'm already putting up a Valentine's background. For my first "Valentine's" post, I'm copying a song a girl whose blog I read on The Nest posted today.

I think it is a really good view of what it needs to be like when entering a marriage. Sorry for the sappiness, but I wanted to post it!

Love is Not a Fight - Warren Barfield

Love is not a place
To come and go as we please
It's a house we enter in
And then commit to never leave

Lock the door behind you
Throw away the key
We'll work it out together
Let it bring us to our knees

Love is a shelter in the raging storm
Love is peace in the middle of a war
If we try to leave, may God send angels to guard the door
No, love is not a fight but it's something worth fighting for

To some, love is a word
That they can fall into
But when they're falling out
Keeping that word is hard to do

Love is a shelter in the raging storm
Love is peace in the middle of a war
If we try to leave, may God send angels to guard the door
No, love is not a fight but it's something worth fighting for

Love will come to save us
If we'll only call
He will ask nothing from us
But demand we give our all

Love is a shelter in the raging storm
Love is peace in the middle of a war
If we try to leave, may God send angels to guard the door
No, love is not a fight but it's something worth fighting for

I will fight for you
Would you fight for me?
It's worth fighting for

PS....I think it's kind of weird that the picture on the header is us in bathing suits, but I couldn't find another one that I liked and wanted to use! Hopefully someday soon I'll actually take a good picture and will stop using wedding and honeymoon ones :)
